This is not about Monster Jinx.

Our size and diversity don’t allow us to be eye-to-eye with each other in every topic or opinion inside the crew. But if we consider someone who influences us all, we have to think of Daniel Dumile.

This is not about Monster Jinx, but inevitably it touches some of the founding pillars that make this label itself. Yes, the sound of each member can easily be distinguished – our uniqueness is inherent to what we do – but it’s up to us to make a tribute to Daniel Dumile, in whatever name it is: MF DOOM, Metal Fingers, Zev Love X, Viktor Vaughn… the villain will live forever. The creative freedom he taught us remains one of our touchstones as jinxies

If the idea behind the mask is bigger than the character itself, we can also say that behind the monster, or its crew, lies the music (which is far more important).

To reinforce the significance of this tribute, MJ DOOM’s download is for FREE. It’s our homage to the most beloved villain in this world we inhabit. For everything that he taught us, for the uncountable hours of listening that he provided us..
